Julie Aigner Clark | You Are The Best Medicine

Julie was raised in a suburb of Detroit where she spent a lot of time reading books, writing and listening to music. When she grew up, she taught English lit to middle and high school students, and she liked those kids so much she decided to have her own. Aspen and Sierra are her daughters.

Julie started a little company from her basement called Baby Einstein. It grew up, and she sold it to Disney. She also started a company called The Safe Side, which makes stuff that helps kids understand how to stay smart and strong. She wrote You Are the Best Medicine after being diagnosed with breast cancer. For more about that, click here.

Julie lives in Colorado with her family, which includes cats, chickens, turtles, fish and various other rescued creatures.
